History
A sweet company
Our story began in January, 1960, the dream of the entrepreneur Ricardo Menendez de la Fuente. He began a smallfamily business that made jelly, under the brand name of “Toby”. Throughout the1970s, the business expanded by making sweets for children. Consequently, themarket grew to the outskirts of the city of Puebla. During 1974, the companywas constituted under the name of Dulces Anauhac, S.A. (a 100% Mexican familybusiness). In 1977, the first lollipop with chili powder in the market wascreated; our product leader CHIPILETA.
This was an innovative sweetthat gave our little consumers the possibility of having taste and fun in asingle product.
Later we would take a chanceon the export market. To reach our objective we undertook a massive effort,both in the production and in the wrappings; this to satisfy the consumertastes of more than 35 countries in the world. As a result, we decided toparticipate in International sweet fairs attended by producers and buyers alikefrom all over the world. We were then able to offer our Mexican sweets in theseevents.
Since then, we havesustainably grown as a company, expanding both our production and ourdistribution coverage to all other states of Mexico. We have managed toposition our brands and we have an important market share of the Mexican sweetindustry. We continue to promote our products at the most prestigious sweetfairs, both in and outside of Mexico, this to maintain as well as expand oursales. We are proud that we maintain as a preferred brand of our consumers dueto our quality and taste.
We strongly believe incontinuous improvement of both our processes and our staff. We constantlyupdate ourselves to consolidate our brands. The main goal of the company is tocontinue to offer fun products with unique flavors, not only to delight thetaste buds of our children, but also their imagination. Our company tastes of Mexico!

CODE OF ETHICS AND CONDUCT
Our company is governed by the following code of ethics and conduct that we must all know and understand in order to enjoy a healthy, safe and reliable work environment.
- Treat all co-workers with dignity and respect.
- It is prohibited for any person to threaten, physically and psychologically abuse (mobbing), or harass verbally or sexually, to any of his companions.
- It is prohibited to discriminate against any co-worker due to their race, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender, political opinion or physical disability, any type of illness, including COVID 19.
- Child labor is prohibited, we do not hire children under 18 years of age.
- This company prohibits supervisors from forcing their staff into forced labor
- Under no circumstances is any type of bribery and/or extortion permitted.
- Maintain an alliance with all our clients and suppliers to work fairly, appropriately, and in compliance with all applicable free competition laws
- Maintain an alliance with our clients, suppliers and workers to conduct ourselves under anti-corruption guidelines, not promise, offer, compromise, or in any way receive something in return for offers advantageous.
- It is completely prohibited to seek to modify our products for commercial or illegal benefit purposes.
- These actions will be sanctioned in accordance with what the Internal Labor Regulations dictate in this regard.
